Beach Musings

The sea shore inspires me. When I am at the beach, my mind tends to wander. Some days, the thoughts roll in like the waves washing up on the sand. Other days, ideas are like wispy clouds on the horizon, drifting along in blue skies.

A Grain of Sand
We went to the beach the other day. That is not an unusual occurrence. In fact, I think I'll go later on this afternoon as well. Any day at the beach is special; but some stand out more than others. Read the rest...

Walking the Talk  Just about every morning, I go for a walk. One of my routes is down from our house to the beach, then up to the top of the hill by the cell phone tower, then back down to our house. It's about a 2 mile trip and a pretty good cardio workout. Yesterday it was also a trip into another reality with a mental workout. Read the rest...

Life's a Beach  Once again I find myself at the beach, strolling at water's edge enjoying the warm sand beneath my feet. As I am wont to do from time to time, I find myself musing about the wonder of it all and Blake comes to mind. "To see the world in a grain of sand"? Read the rest...
